Getting started
How to Use It
Step 01
Pre-soak the soil
Water the soil around the plant or tree before you apply the fertiliser.
Step 02
Measure one handful
One handful of Flower & Fruit is approximately 50 g.
Step 03
Apply around the drip line
Spread the fertiliser evenly over the soil around the drip line of the plant or tree.
Step 04
Keep 20 cm clear of the base
Keep the fertiliser at least 20 cm away from the base of the plant.
Step 05
Avoid foliage and flowers
Do not allow the fertiliser to come into contact with foliage or flowers.
Step 06
Water well again
Water the area thoroughly after applying.

Good to Know
- Application Timing
- Apply after the first signs of new season growth, and then every 6–8 weeks throughout the growing season.
- By Climate Region
- Temperate (summer rainfall): one handful every 6 weeks. Arid (winter rainfall): one handful every 6 weeks. Sub-tropical (summer rainfall): half a handful every 6 weeks.
- Seasonal Use
- Flower & Fruit is a growing-season feed. Atlantic recommends applying Bio Ocean in winter instead.
- Where to Apply
- Spread evenly over pre-soaked soil around the drip line — not against the stem or trunk, and at least 20 cm from the base.
- Watering
- Apply to pre-soaked soil and water well again straight after application so the nutrients move into the root zone.
- Cautions
- Not suitable for newly planted roses or indigenous plants — Atlantic recommends Bio Ganic or Bio Ocean for those. Avoid contact with foliage and flowers.
- Mixing & Combining
- Atlantic products are slow release and not fully water soluble, so work the granules into the soil or broadcast them on the surface rather than brewing them as a tea.
